Here at Public Works Productions, we don’t take the conventional approach of uniquely and incessantly promoting only our most recent work. Instead, we see each of our works as being a timeless response to a particular cultural moment, as well as an historical document of our own development. Indeed, this site itself can be seen as one of those works, filling a very different cultural role than other such ‘band-related’ sites, which are typically simply promotional. This site is constructed to be a cultural attraction in its own right, although obviously based upon, and referential to, our series of works in other media.
With this in mind, each of our releases is marked by a similar magnitude of star in our disco-filmo-hagiography. Be aware of this, and be amused by our shimmering diversions. The blue buttons near the top of the page are categories. You know what to do.
