What isn't the Oftener Particle?

THE OFTENER PARTICLE is a collective journal or informal public kiosk, of sorts (intentionally somewhat unfocused on purpose). Anyone who cares enough to write and send in their ideas or responses to what they find "in here" or "out there" is credentials enough for us. We encourage writings which deal with a person's cultural or experiential life, or their reaction to something new or curious but generally unnoticed, but the subject matter is completely open. Find what is interesting in your experience and relay it. You get to help shape the project by submitting writing or graphics on any subject that is important to you. This is our attempt to reflect our desire to let The Oftener Particle grow more or less of its own accord. Given enough time, and through accumulation, The Oftener Particle will inevitably resolve from an collection of micro-ideas into much broader and hopefully representative of the community of persons whose ideas have appeared here.

The discussions that take place here are entirely open to anyone's input. If you feel you have something to share with your fellow readers, then, submit them to The Oftener Particle. This is an ongoing discussion, or sounding board, or kiosk, or a journal written by many people. Opportunities and announcements are also welcome. In essence, we seek most anything that encourages interaction among interested parties. We like to have the opportunity to edit for clarity and length, but we will respect any clearly-stated, reasonable wish in terms of attribution or editing.
