Music with Sound, a magnum opus by the new group Public Works, is an exercise in archaeology. In its previous existence, Music with Sound took the audio art world by storm, quelling any thirst for a labored and perfunctory "newness." As a completely Plagiarized® work, Music with Sound was in turn itself plagiarized. The tired inevitability of the cliche of redundantly stealing stolen work is only barely matched by the bone-headedness of the act. It bears witness to an only dimly (or not at all) comprehended sense of Music with Sound's crystalline moral imperatives.The best way to fix this dismal situation is for the creators of Music with Sound to steal it from themselves.
